Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the greatest and most rich Reggae singers. Shottas was an iconic film in which he appeared along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the album was released like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles such as Judge Not with Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and Who The Cap Fit remix and Sensimelia. All of them helped contribute to Ky's growing popularity among the new generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani and Praswell from the Fugees were joined in 1997 and recorded Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a guest at Midem (international musical showcase) in the year it was held at Miami at the beginning of its run.
